Fibromyalgia and Surgery.... OUCH

I you ever wondered what a "flare" felt like then let me be of assistance... Just schedule surgery and you will know. I had a hysterectomy in December and then I needed shoulder surgery this last week. Boy has my body been in a flare for weeks. I feel every single sore muscle and cut nerve. Was it worth it? YES, a thousand times YES.. I know in the long run I will benefit greatly, but Oh Boy in the short term has it been a lesson in patience and perserverance... In it all I must say, God is good all the time and all the time God is good!!!!

What prayers does God like to answer.. He answers all of them.. It does not matter your finances or status or health.
i can remember so many times that God provided for our needs and wants..

One year we had taken a church in a very small town in Soutern Oregon... We knew no one, but we did have a sister church that had taken on our church as there personal ministry... We had no money and Christmas was around the corner and this church asked my dad to come to their church to "pick up" a piano they donated. They had also asked us to make a dream christmas list and told us to put everything we could possibily want.. so my sister and i did as they asked. we had forgotten all about it since the lists were made in September.. Well my dad and friend drove the 3+ hours to pick up the piano. When he came home he explained to us that they had thrown a Christmas shower for our family. The back of the pickup was packed to within an inch of popping the tailgate off.. we got EVERYTHING on our lists sometimes in multiples. What a wonderful answer to prayers spoken by 2 young girls and 2 very broke parents

My babies (Dogs).... Unconditional Love...

You may be asking what does this have to do with Fibromyalgia... Well I must say that my poor dogs have had more tears shed on them than my husband has... When you hurt all the time you will often get weary of EVERYTHING. It feels like there is no break, well I have 2 special critters in my life that have been there through thick and thin.. My Dogs, Mazie and Sophie. Mazie is a 6 year old Yellow Lab with a heart of gold. Sophie is a 3 year old Mini Black Poodle. When I am cold Mazie is a great heating pad for my feet. When I am sad they both jump on the couch or bed and snuggle with me. Dogs have a sixth sense in regards to THEIR humans.. These 2 girls have been exactly what I need. They give me motivation to get moving because they need a walk or to be fed.. Sometimes that about all I can do, but I do it for them..

Creative Living with Fibromyalgia...

So how many of you hurt EVERYDAY???? I mean a pain that you can't even put into words.... For every Fibromyalgia patient you will hear a different discription of pain UNTIL they get together and start to compare stories.. Then you start to hear "Me too" or "I thought I was the only one" or even "I never connected that to the Fibro, but it makes sense"..

There are so many similarities, but we often don't know because so many of us have put ourselves in a closet of pain. Its time to come into the sunshine.. Join the living, I promise no 5 K runs or anything crazy....
